LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT: I am extremely grateful that I get to live on the traditional territory of the Wolastoqiyik (Malisset) and Mi’Kmaq Peoples. I acknowledge the damage and injustice that has been done to First Nations Peoples by settlers and that still needs to be addressed and corrected. I promise to revere this land that I live, play and create on; to treat its resources with respect; and to support Indigenous business and cultural initiatives whenever and wherever possible.
I laughed out loud at several of these Jane; thanks. Times really are trying, scary and sad so laughter feels good.

Thanks, Jill. I know I need it myself. Such a feeling of helplessness and heartbreak these days.

It’s extra special when I can make you both laugh! I’m pleased to report that my recovery is coming along well, just in time for our first snow!! 😳 Love you, too, Rita! 💕

Jane, are you expecting much snow! According to predictions from a couple meteorologists, we are to get more snow in January and February. We sure need it on pastures and hayfields. I love my first snow just to take a walk in!!!

We had about 5” of wet snow just before Halloween, which resulted in my husband being able to keep the treats I’d gotten in. 😊 It has now melted. Hopefully the real snow season will hold off until mid or late Dec. I love snow, but I can wait!!

Oh my – so good. The take a nap until after the feeling passes goes well with your laundry basket post! 🙂

I’m glad I could add to your smiles today, Wynne. You’re right about that nap cartoon going well with last week’s post; I found it too late. The advice still holds though!! 😂

I’m so pleased to have brought some smiles your way, Carol. We are slowly but surely recovering from our various joint replacements on this side of the country, just in time for the cold weather to take hold.

I am happy to hear you’re both recovering. I pray you’ll be fully healed before the ice and snow makes getting around difficult. Feel better!
And yes, I did chuckle and smiled a lot scrolling through these memes. Laughter really is good for the soul. Thanks for that.

It’s worming and defleaing day in our house for our cat so the rolled up ham made me laugh; as did the last one about chocolate coated nuts!! 😄
Thanks Jane and you’re so right it’s so black and depressing out there! 😢

LOL re your poor cat; she/he didn’t get the option! We need to find ways not to let despair overwhelm us; there’s so much to despair of these days.

I’ve always loved the one about putting up shelves and even bought the card. But there’s no-one I felt I could safely give it to without their other half looking at me sideways (for entirely understandable reasons). Thanks as ever Jane, a great crop 🙂
