The image provides the sad answer. Unfortunately here in America we have science deniers in high places. One in particular comes to mind but he is joined by many who wouldn’t deign to prod business to be more responsible. After all, as the saying goes, “Don’t bite the hand that feeds you.”
You got that one right, Paulie. It’s all about money. Money and power. And to watch them trying to actually walk back existing environmental protections in the name of the economy is shameful.
