A little humour (aka humor), offering a little bit of this, a little bit of that

I’d been planning on writing a post for today about AI, ChatGPT, and what really might be ahead for all of us in this “advanced AI” world. But I’m not quite ready to roll with that one, and as I watch March roll out as the same lion it came in as (ushered in with snow, continuing with lots more of the glistening white stuff, and now waving goodbye with a top-up to see us through the first part of April), I decided that a little humour was just the ticket. I hope you will agree. (With a huge shoutout to Bill and Marilyn for being my most generous suppliers of humour.)

Let’s start with some observations on technological change.

Now some thoughts on parenting.

Some Irish humour in recognition of recently celebrated St. Paddy’s Day.

And now two that aren’t in the best of taste, but after all, that’s why they’re funny. Sorry, I couldn’t resist!

Goodbye, March. It’s been fun, but we’re ready to give April a try!

These were a delight….and oh….the “please be chicken” was just the edgy finish to wrap it all up – LOL! Thanks for the smiles to start the day, Jane! (Regarding weather….we had ‘thunder snow’ here overnight — wild – but Spring is coming, right?) 😉

Received with gratitude Jane – laughs well needed over here.
I particularly liked the GDaughter/GFather/Phone and the ‘divorce’ ones.
A different version on the ‘brain is an amazing organ…..’ ends ‘until you vote Conservative’!! 😀 Very appropriate here in the UK 😏

I start each day reading the Guardian and BBC online, and, sadly, I couldn’t agree more, Margaret. The degree of corruption, self-interest, and downright cruelty within the govt is staggering. You look at how the UK and also the US have withered as beacons of democracy and wonder where the world is heading. It’s a scary thought.

Some good questions to ask ChatGPT and to show that it is like a responsive….encyclopedia that roams the Internet.,,,and grows and grows which includes some misinformation, like Wikipedia.
