Another week of the world not showing its better self in so many respects. Let’s dip into some of that medicine called Laughter to shake off some of the angst. I hope some of these work for you, maybe even provide some inspiration!
Just kidding, kids, just kidding! 🙂 ❤
Love them all, Jane…but the yoga mat giggle…needing a detailed plan to get upright again…made me laugh out loud. Mmm…as if you heard me harrumphing and complaining after a little stretching this morning. Thanks for the cheery post! 🙂

Happy to bring you some smiles, Victoria. The one about needing a plan to get up is so funny because it’s so true, at least if you’re me! Welcome to my world!! 🤔🤣

True for me, too, Jane! 😘

I LOVE all of these & they made me laugh. I would have to put them in categories, then tell you which category was my favorite in order to pick a favorite (or something like that). While it was VERY hard, in the end … & with my career as an RN guiding me … clearly it has to be the Snagglepuss character & the comment about a man with a cold. That got my deepest belly-laugh. Thank you for a delightful moment filled with smiles & laughter.

More than happy to oblige, Linda. Good choices; my husband even laughed hard at the man cold, and he doesn’t even fit that mold (thank goodness!).

I loved your choice today but I deny vehemently the pink panther one (of course) ♥♥♥

LOL, David. I live with proof that you are correct in that assessment, but it sure is funny! 😏

Fun! Can’t decide which ones are my favorites, but the lawn mower one is somewhere near the top.

Isn’t it true about parents getting comfortable and kids never letting them do that! Thank for the smiles.

More delight and laughs! Thank you, Jane. I’m trying to figure out a detailed and doable plan for getting up from a low seated position too. When he was younger, my son told me, “Mom, watching you stand up from sitting is like watching Transformers.”

Lol, I’m trying to decide how I would have responded if my son had said that to me! 😏 These days, that cartoon is the story of my life!! 😂

These are excellent – many raised a smile and a chuckle (the perfect start to a Monday!) The one with the yoga mat is sadly far too true. I must prioritise that knee replacement surgery, but there’s so many other things I’m doing and I know that the post-op recovery will end up taking much of my focus 🙂

Thanks, Debs. You and me both for the yoga mat cartoon, although with me it’s my hip. One of these months (or years) my name will come to the top of the op list. If it’s your choice, don’t wait too long; quality of life’s a lot better post-rehab.

It is my choice Jane, but so much of what I’m working on now has been at the top of my list for a long time and I’ve not been able to focus on it due to other (mostly family) obligations, so I’m racing along trying to get them to a point where I can ease back a bit and have surgery. I don’t imagine it will allow me to put it off too long 🙂

I meant to write how much I am enjoying your blog but my dog starting barking and I got distracted and my fingers did whatever they did. But the point is I love your blog.
