I don’t know if you feel the same way, but the world doesn’t seem to be providing a lot of merriment these days, especially if you pay much attention to the news. We need to sprinkle some laughter in amongst the angst and despair. Let’s try a few of these and see if some of them help. (With many thanks to my contributing friends on social media: Marilyn, Randy, and Jody.)
And, last but not least for today, see if this one works for you!
Good ones, Jane!

I couldn’t agree more. We all need a laugh right now. Or in the words of the last item on the truck carrying thesauruses: we all need to be amused, entertained, tickled to death, tickled pink, bowled over, cracked up! Ha, ha. Thanks for sharing.

Great response, Brian. You could write your own thesaurus

Made me smile. Made me snicker. Made me chuckle. Made me laugh. 🙂
Thank you x4!
And I agree with the premise, too. In fact, just a short while ago it occurred to me, too, and I was looking for suggestions for movies that are guaranteed to life one’s mood one (or two!) notches…

You’re so right. We all need to find as many outlets as we can to help lighten our moods these days.

I am total agreement Jane. I have been thinking about Humor as the subject of a keynote speech I have to do for Toastmasters. Remember Humour Is the Best Medicine? Not only as medicine but it does other positive things as well, such as breaking tension, and reinvigorating the tired. If you don’t know whether to laugh or cry – I suggest laughing. – David

Enjoyed the chuckles! I must admit thought, it took me a minute to get the Aisle C punch line. Guess I’m out of practice living in this humourless (humorless) world. 🙂

If we weren’t living in the world they’re controlling, the individuals in our UK government are providing plenty of hilarious moments. But we are, so I thank you for these. The deer with the gun made me literally LOL, but I love the idea of the false backdrop for video calls as the electronic ones are too glitchy.

Yes, Debs, what’s going on with the UK govt at the moment is, sadly, a prime example of why we need a few moments of laughter, to clear the toxic air. 😥 Re those cartoons, they are two of my faves as well.

Yeah, that one’s right up there for me, too, Marty. I even love the “look” on the deer’s face when he says it! It’s like, “I’ve been waiting for you.” 😂🤣

Thank you for the laugh, Jane! I’m especially loving the Skype cartoon because I’m picturing my son at college pulling this trick:). Tee hee.

Ha, that Skype comic might seem in jest, but that’s exactly what everybody’s doing these days with green screens. Maybe not for their mums, but their viewers. Thanks for these lovely laughs!
