Suffocation. We too see it. Today, our beautiful greeny verges were set alight by some careless person. The neighboring green trees were alight as well. My minds eyes could hear and see the trees panic as the fire spread. I used to be reminded of Delhi but my South Africa too has been tainted.
Oh, no, how sad.
Eek!
Yes, and down at road level we don’t notice the pollution haze the way we do from above. It’s not a pretty thought!
I was going to ask what that pictures says to you when you look at it, then noticed the tags 🙂 I’m a slow learner. I may just have to start posting a wordless Wednesday on my blog as well. I do, post pictures on occasion on my FB page..I call them “just because” …Stay tuned. take care! DM
Excellent point, DM. So much for “wordless”; I obviously need to provide some hints. Three weeks ago I decided to try posting WW pics that make us think about what we’ve been doing to our planet wrt climate change and sustainability. I think I’ll have to modify my headings, following your good example! Hope you’re having a great summer, now that it’s finally here.

This just about says it all for most of our large cities, wonder what it does to our lungs to breathe that every day? And just for a moment think of the overall consequences since a majority of the world population lives in large cities.
We just don’t learn. And we’re greedy; we don’t want to pay more or make any personal sacrifices. This is the result. So sad.

I know. And this is with tighter emission regulations and far better automotive technology than we used to have.
