    Parable is a bit biblical I think – ‘allegory’ fits nicely 🙂 There again, the original is probably in the Bible somewhere. One for our present times certainly when bridges are more often being torn down.

      Excellent point, Roy. An allegory. Rooted in a biblical narrative or not (and that definitely is not one of my areas of expertise), I fully agree that it is sadly relevant to the times in which we live. We need more leaders who are bridge builders, or who at least try, or who at least think it might be a good idea.
